In my pro-life feminist rantings and ravings and investigations I found this:

Made me mad at pro-aborts for thinking its a "woman's choice". >_<

There are many tasks to be completed before we will be able to stop abortion, not the least of which is making it the less attractive of the two options in the first place.

Yip, I'd wadger my entire Transformer collection, including my re-issue G1 Perceptor that if abortion were suddenly banned tomorrow we would see a lot of illegal abortions, how many result in death I can't guess because women today aren't idiots and you can find almost anything on Google.
If we want to stop abortion, if we want to ban it, we need to ensure the environment is coherrent with giving women real choices and support.

3 options actually, if you count adoption.

Adoption isn't a pregnancy option. It is a parenting option. That is, a woman cannot consent to adoption until after giving birth. She may think that's what she wants to do, but the decision cannot be formalized while she is still pregnant.
I point that out only because the "three options" thing is something of a misnomer. There really are only two: Continue the pregnancy, or end it.

Yep...since RvW location seems to be the different kettle.
Shame.

But the way we need to work it is by ensuring there are supports for women who would otherwise abort. Because say abortion was banned tomorrow, there's still apparently a "recession" on, women are still getting shafted at work and at school and in society. Women would resort to illegal abortions in higher numbers then pre-Roe, and while it would still be homicide and I still dislike it, it would make society very anti-pro-life and would thus, push harder for re-leglisation of abortion, in fact, it could end up blowing up in our faces, all it would take would be one horrid sob story and bam, aboriton would be entrenched in the consititution so much so Abortion could never be banned.
As it is now, we have legal hope that Roe can fall.
We need to change society, its getting there, and I actually think that American society could at least tolerate a hit against the more frivilous abortions, or even if they said "ban it after 10 weeks except for the usual bullocks".

It's true that women need to be better taken care of if abortion is to be illegalized, but abortion must be stopped as soon as possible. Motherhood healthcare for women is a moral obligation that we will go down no matter what (or at least it should be), but the government cannot send out the message that getting an abortion is alright.

If all the money the american government hands to PP and all the money PP and other proabort organizations use to promote "choice" where diverted to needy women we may have the beginnings of a solution. But as long as the greedy abortionists and PP exects continue to get rich off despirate women, we will have needless abortions.

The abortion lobby fought health care for expecting mothers because it would make the preborn child a person, and effectively over throw RvW. The biggest obsticle for health care for poor expecting mothers is Planned Parenthood.

One thing I think you're missing. The vast majority of women are law abiding and intelligent enough to understand sex can equal a pregnancy.
We have more CPC's in this country then abortion mills...there's help, even in a recession.
And if we keep making those excuses and mix in every single "what if"...you can just fold your tent, go home, do what you do for fun and give up the prolife fight.
